So… Today I discovered/made for the first time banana nice cream! Hell yes. It’s a thing and it’s fucking delicious. I have always been obsessed with acai bowls since they were on the radar, but now…. Banana ice cream obsession has been unlocked! This is soooo good! Banana nice cream is called nice because it is such a healthy alternative to dairy because it’s 3 ingredients. Healthy ingredients! No animal products, no blood and pus, no antibiotics, all of that bad stuff. Just natural ingredients that taste good and feel good!
Today I made my own banana nice cream after watching countless vegans make it in YouTube videos and I am so happy I did. I can’t believe I’ve waited this long! If you haven’t tried this yet, do it. Please. Peel some bananas and throw them in the freezer and get ready for a yummy healthy treat!
Ingredients for base:
3 frozen bananas
Almond milk (about 1/4 cup, you don’t want too much or else it won’t get an ice cream like texture)
Handful of ice (I put 2 handfuls-my hands are tiny lol!)
Trader Joe’s Fiber O’s Cereal
Other Topping Ideas:
(List goes on, you get the idea)
How to make:
Put the bananas, almond milk, and ice in blender until it’s thick and smooth. Put it all in a huge bowl and top with your favorite toppings 🙂 Enjoy!
That’s it. So easy and simple.
This is my favorite thing ever and I was just telling my boyfriend that I want to freeze a ton of bananas so I can make this more often! Like everyday, no joke. Such a good snack/meal and so yummy! Perfect for hot summer days!
Also, I think it would be interesting to put a little cocao powder in the base too, depending on the flavors you like. The possibilities are endless! 🙂
